Beaches: The beaches of Port of Sóller are two urban sandy beaches, Playa d’en Repic and the beach of Port de Sóller (also known as Es Través), which are close to each other and share characteristics such as their location in the harbor bay, their family atmosphere, and the numerous services available. They are sandy and gravel beaches with calm, clear waters, surrounded by a promenade with restaurants and shops, and offer all the amenities visitors could need, including sunbed rental, showers, lifeguards, and accessibility for people with reduced mobility.

Promenade: A palm-lined promenade with bars, restaurants, shops, and views of the harbor.

Sóller Tram: Take the historic tram that connects the harbor with the town of Sóller.

Chopped tower: A 16th-century watchtower built to defend against pirates, from where you can enjoy views of the entire bay.

Lighthouse: Visit the Cap Gros lighthouse to enjoy excellent views of the bay. The Cap Gros lighthouse, also known as La Muleta lighthouse, is located on a cliff at the western entrance to the port. It was built in 1859 and offers breathtaking panoramic views of the bay of Sóller and the Sierra de Tramuntana mountains, making it a popular spot for hiking and photography, especially at sunset. It is accessible by car via a road and is located near the “Refugio de Muleta.”

Lighthouse: See the old La Creu lighthouse, which was built in 1864 but abandoned due to a major structural problem: a chimney in the rock projected high waves over the lighthouse during storms, making it dangerous for the lighthouse keeper and causing the building to shake. A new tower was designed in 1928 and came into operation in 1945, while the remains of the first building remain in their original location.

Sea Museum: Located in the old chapel of Santa Catalina, this is an interpretation center for the maritime history of Sóller. It displays antique naval pieces, models, photographs, and fishing and trade objects, with special attention given to the “mestres d’aixa” (local artisans) and emigration. It has an audiovisual room with testimonies from fishermen and a viewpoint overlooking the port.

The ort of Sóller fish market: This is the new fish market, a modern building for professional fishing that also includes a direct sales point for the public. It differs from the “Llotja” in Palma (Sa Llotja), which is a historic 15th-century Gothic building, although both are related to maritime trade on the island.

Fishing district: Visit the Santa Catalina district, which retains its fishing charm and offers good local cuisine.

Walk: Stroll along the boulevard that runs along the port and the beach, where you will find restaurants and shops.

Hiking: Explore the trails that start from the area, especially the Torre Picada, an old watchtower.

Water sports: Try your hand at sports such as kayaking, paddle surfing, or scuba diving.

Boat trips: Boat trips are organized from the port to places such as Cala Tuent, Sa Foradada, and the impressive Torrent de Pareis.
