Excavations have unearthed an architectural complex with Syrian-Palestinian and North African influences, and its mosaics, rich in iconography, became famous. The remains are preserved in the Museu d’Història de Manacor.
Old train station: The old train station in Sant Llorenç des Cardassar was part of the Manacor-Artà line (1921-1977). The railway line operated between 1921 and 1977, and the Sant Llorenç station was part of it. During the Civil War, the track between this station and Son Carrió was removed to prevent its use.
