Taxis in Mallorca
Taxi fares in Mallorca are quite affordable and are regulated by law. Even in the rare case that a taxi does not have a taximeter, the fare must be the one that appears in the BOIB (Official Gazette of the Balearic Islands). In relation to the cost of the service, it is noticeable that after 21:00 h, on Sundays and public holidays, fares are naturally more expensive. Additional supplements may also be charged for specific dates and public holidays, station calls or others (except for prams or wheelchairs). It is IMPROBABLE that drivers DO NOT accept payment by credit or debit cards, so not having cash should not be a concern at all.

The capacity of taxis in Mallorca ranges from 4 to 6 passengers depending on the model of vehicle, so bear this in mind if you are travelling in a group.
