As far as public transport on the metro in Mallorca is concerned, the island has basically two lines, the M1 and M2 (each with 9 and 10 stations or stops respectively) which are also operated all year round by the Serveis Ferroviaris de Mallorca (SFM), but it hardly exceeds the area around Palma.

Metro line M2 Mallorca (Marratxí / Es Figueral) has 10 stops from Estació Intermodal to Marratxí.
Metro timetables
The Mallorca metro operates between 6:30 am and 11:00 pm. It has a frequency of approximately 20 minutes on its departures from Monday to Friday; it has a frequency of approximately 30 minutes on its departures on Saturdays and does not offer services on Sundays. Travelling in Mallorca and paying with a bank card
The bank card (Visa, Mastercard and Maestro), both debit and credit, allows you to travel on the TIB network in Mallorca without having to purchase a ticket beforehand. On the website of the Transport Consortium of Mallorca it is stated that the card simply has to be validated at the entrance and exit of the bus, train or metro. It’s that easy! In addition, using the same bank card offers significant discounts for groups of up to 5 people. IMPORTANT: Don’t forget to validate your bank card for this operation to take effect.
Buying a metro ticket at Mallorca’s stations
Metro of Mallorca: Tickets for access to the metro and the whole of Mallorca’s railway system can be purchased, either in cash or with a debit or credit card, at the ticket machines available at all stations, and also at the ticket offices at Palma Intermodal Station.
